We collect only what is needed to run a personalised tutoring service:

Account information: your name, email address, and the phone number you provide when you enrol.
Guardian contact: a parent or guardian phone number, where provided, for fee and class communications.
Learning data: your test attempts and scores, self-assessment entries, study notes you write, practice progress, and similar records you create while using the Service.
Notes and messages: notes and voice notes exchanged between you and your teacher through the Service.
Device notification token: if you enable notifications in the app, a push-notification token that lets us send you class reminders and updates.
Usage information: basic technical information such as which lectures or materials you view, used to operate and improve the Service.

How we use your information

To provide the tutoring service — lectures, tests, feedback, notes, and progress tracking.
To send you class reminders, notices, and updates (via in-app notifications and/or WhatsApp).
To communicate with you or your guardian about fees, scheduling, and results.
To secure the Service and protect our educational content.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate the Service. These providers process data only on our behalf, to deliver the functions below:

Supabase — secure database and authentication (stores your account and learning data).
Netlify — hosting of the website and application.
Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging) — delivery of push notifications.
Bunny.net — secure hosting and streaming of lecture recordings.
AiSensy / WhatsApp Business — sending reminders and notices to your phone or your guardian's phone.

Each provider maintains its own security and privacy practices. We share with them only the minimum information required for their function.

Content protection

Lecture recordings and study materials are the intellectual property of Suraj Sir Chemistry Classes and are provided for your personal learning only. To protect this content, recordings are encrypted and personalised materials may carry a watermark identifying the account they were issued to. Downloading, recording, or redistributing content is not permitted.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as you are an enrolled student and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your personal data (see below).

Children's privacy

Our students may include minors. Where a student is a minor, enrolment and use of the Service are undertaken with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. We collect only the information necessary to provide tutoring, and guardian contact details are used for fee and class communication. Your choices and rights

Notifications: you can turn off push notifications in your device settings at any time.
Access and correction: you may ask us to review or correct your personal information.
Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing us; we will delete it subject to any legal record-keeping requirements.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.
